Fees for Etsy sellers by EU country (2026)

For most EU countries Etsy charges exactly the same fees. The one thing that changes is the VAT Etsy adds to them if you haven't given it a VAT ID. The fees every EU shop pays

A $0.20 listing fee per item sold, 6.5% of the item price, postage and gift wrap, and 4% + €0.30 payment processing on the whole order, including tax. Denmark and Sweden are the exceptions: Etsy sets their fixed part in local currency (2.50 DKK and 3.00 SEK). Poland, Czechia, Romania and Bulgaria are listed by Etsy in euros even though they have their own currencies, so Etsy converts the fee, and the 2.5% conversion fee applies if you list in a different currency from your bank account.

VAT on fees is the difference

Without a VAT ID, Etsy adds your country's standard VAT rate to all of its fees. That ranges from 17% to 25.5% across the countries below, so the same €24 order costs a few cents more in Finland or Croatia than in Luxembourg or Malta. Once you add a valid EU VAT ID, Etsy stops charging it and you account for it yourself under the reverse charge.
